St. Patrick’s Day Events in Indy

Get out your lucky shamrocks and be sure to wear green! St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and you’re going to have plenty of things to do over the holiday weekend. There’s fun for the whole family whether you’re looking for a drink or a fun craft.


Firkin St. Patrick’s Day at Four Day Ray Brewing
Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 at Four Day Ray Brewery

The 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Four Day Ray Brewery will include glitter beer, live music, kegs and eggs, food trucks, 5K and one-mile walk, games, bagpipes, beads, and The Pint Cycle! A percentage of ticket sales will go to the Fishers Fire Foundation.


St. Patrick’s Mug-Glass Etching
Sunday, March 10 at Urban Vines Winery & Brewery

Create your own custom St. Patrick’s Day mug! Using an armour etch to create an image of your choosing on a beer mug, you’ll paint on the final details and make your mug your own. Each ticket includes a glass of wine or beer.


St. Patrick’s Day Beginner Cookie Decorating Class
Saturday, March 9 at Queen Anne’s Farmhouse

East Street Cookie Co. and Queen Anne’s Farmhouse are partnering together for the perfect event for family, friends, or significant others. Learn how to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing using basic techniques including marbling, piping, and flooding. You’ll leave with a box of 5 of your personally decorated cookies as well as a gift bag.


Hoosier Lottery Greening of the Canal
Thursday, March 14 in Downtown Indy at Ohio & West

For the 23rd straight year, the Hoosier Lottery is turning the downtown canal green with a performance by The Indianapolis 500 Gordon Pipers.


Parade & Block/Tent Party
Friday, March 15 in Downtown Indy North Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania

Spend your Saturday visiting Indy’s best bars and pubs! Although the list of participating bars has not yet been announced, each bar will offer drink specials as well as no cover charges.


The Lucky Charms of Hip Hop
Sunday, March 17 at The HiFi

Tha Alkohiliks are a hip hop group from Los Angeles. This trio has been producing party music with a hip hop edge since the early 1990’s. Other featured artists will be Mudkids, Double A, Mic Flont, Khingz, Messiah. DJ’s include Indian Jones, Rusty Redenbacher, and Helicon.

Saturday, March 16 at Center-Jordan YMCA

Fun for the whole family! Visit the Center-Jordan YMCA to enjoy dinner, crafts, games, a movie, and more. Open to all ages!


Bad Art Night: St. Patrick’s Day Themed
Friday, March 8 at Garfield Parks Art Center

“Skills are frowned upon” at the GPAC Bad Art Night. Trophies will be awarded for the worst piece created. Creations will revolve around the theme of St. Patrick’s Day. This event will be full of fun and music and is perfect for all ages.


Shamrock Beer Run & Brewfest Indy
Saturday, March 16 at Historic Military Park

Start your 5K run (or walk) with a craft beer toast and then take a break every kilometer throughout the 5K to receive a beer sample. You’ll receive your last beer sample at the finish line! Once the 5K is done, you will receive a pint of your favorite beer. Those that complete the 5K will receive a long-sleeve shirt and a magnetic bottle-opening finishing medal!


Indiana’s Largest St. Patrick’s Day Tent Party
Friday March 15-Sunday March 17 at Pinheads Entertainment Center

Pinheads Entertainment Center is having a HUGE 3 day St. Patrick’s Party! They will have live music all weekend from some of the best local bands in the Indy area, 2 huge 100-foot tents outside, and 5 bars indoor and outdoors! They will also be featuring Kegs and Eggs on Saturday and Sunday morning from 9am-12pm. Green beers of course, along with many other great drink and food specials, also featuring a Taco Bar! You can get an all access green wristband for $10.


7th Annual Shamrock St. Paddy’s Bash
Friday March 15-Sunday March 17 at Murphy’s Pubhouse

Murphy’s Pub is having their 7th annual St. Patrick’s Day Bash and they really know how to party! They will have live music all weekend, green beer and some great Irish food specials. They also have the Indianapolis Gordon Pipers on Saturday and Sunday that play their bagpipes all around the restaurant to Irish tunes and it is an absolutely amazing show to watch on St. Paddy’s Day!


Kilroy’s Blarney Bash 2019
Saturday March 16 at Kilroy’s Downtown Indy

Kilroy’s Downtown Indy is having the biggest outdoor St. Patrick’s Day party in Indianapolis! This will be from Meridian Street to Pennsylvania Street & they are offering a ton of awesome St. Patrick’s Day specials! Featuring green beer, 32 oz. Lucky Long Island Iced Teas, DJs, live bands including Clayton Anderson, big screen TVs, and food from Box Burger Food Truck. Sounds like a great time to me!!


St. Paxrick’s Bash
Friday March 15-Saturday March 16 at Pax Verum Brewing- Lapel

Pax Verum in Lapel is hosting their very first St. “Paxrick’s” Bash this year and looks like its going to be awesome! For only $5 you can get in on both Friday & Saturday and enjoy all of their festivities!  They have some great bands playing all weekend including Beautiful Day (U2 Tribute), Bobbie Morrone Trio, and The Stone Jacks. Lucky Louie’s Sausage and Hot Dogs will be serving a special Irish themed menu both Friday & Saturday and they will be tapping some delicious Irish beers!


St. Patrick’s Day Tent Party
Saturday March 16 at Urban Vines Winery & Brewery – Westfield

Free Admission! Urban Vines Winery & Brewery in Westfield is having a tent party starting at noon on Saturday! They will have live Irish Bands, $5 Green Beer, an Irish food buffet, WINE SLUSHIES and more!


5th Annual Shamrocks and Shenanigans 2-Day Tent Party
Saturday March 16 – Sunday March 17 at the District Tap

This two day tent party at the District Tap has no cover until 4pm so get out there early to save a few bucks, doors open at 11! After 4 pm it is $5 admission or $7 for both days. Live music, March Madness, Green Beer, Irish Food and an amazing lineup of live music. Featuring live music by: Living Proof, Flying Toasters, Popparazzi, Jai Baker 3, The Bishops, Andrew Young, Karma, The Ripple Effect, Chasing Katie. TDT also has photo booths, face painting, balloons, games and giveaways!
