Indiana’s nonprofit ovarian cancer resource organization whose mission is to create public awareness; provide support, education & networking opportunities to ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers; and fund research focused on early detection and a cure.
1. Create awareness among women and the greater community regarding early warning signs that may be indicative of ovarian cancer, resulting in earlier detection;

To reduce the number of women who die from ovarian cancer by increasing the occurence of early detection.
Ovar’coming Together History
Ovar’coming Together was founded in 1995 by Pam Faerber, Nancy Hines and Kai Binford – three Indianapolis women who were united as a result of having been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
The nonprofit organization provides survivor and caregiver support and education, networking opportunities, community awareness programs, and research funding. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and, ultimately, reducing the number who die from it.
Ovar’coming Together is a Partner Member and co-founder of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA). OCNA works to advance the interests of women with ovarian cancer and serves as a resource for partner organizations across the country.
